Before I put the Toile de Jouy papers back into my crafty stash, I thought I would show you the same set but this time in Rose Craftwork Cards really did treat us with these two paper pads.
Along with the paper pads I also bought a pack of white die cut flowers. I decided to emboss them using the Tattered Lace mini flower folders which meant that each flower had a slightly different design. Using a salmon pink distress ink I edged each flower before using a stamp tool to lightly distress each petal. To change the look of some of them I used the Rose paper and hand punched some mini flowers to add to the centre of the white embossed flower. The same technique was used on the leaves and the semi circular bowls. (The patterns worked really well on these because I could centre them)
The Rose set also had matching tags which were just meant to have blush red ribbons added to them. Again I used them at various angles. It really is just a matter of moving the components around the card ( 6″ x 6″) and seeing what works for you.
Unusually for me I steered away from glitter glue but I could not resist adding gloss drops to the matching candi.
I have been delighted with the response to these cards on my Facebook page and have already sold three of them. Toile de Jouy Rose and Tapestry Blue are definitely Craftwork Card papers worth having.
