Hello again,
I have a special affinity to Tell the Bees because it is the place where my crafting journey with Craft Consortium began in 2017. In fact you can read my blog post from back then to see just how much I loved crafting with this collection.
The card above was spotted on Instagram by the team at Craft Consortium and they followed my progress for a year or so. In 2018, I applied to join their design team and my heart skipped a beat when I found out I had been accepted. Fast forward to today and you will see that I am making the cards for the launch of the Special Edition of Tell the Bees which once again has been illustrated by Katy Hackney. It was a real honour for me.
Can you tell from the cards that this was a real labour of love for me? I loved the first collection but I adore the Special Edition papers because they have a luxurious and stylish feel to them. Not only did I get to see these cards on the set of Create and Craft on the launch show they also pop up online for companies like Craft Stash to show how the products can be used. Things like that make me a little bit proud of my work.
