Summer in Provence

Hello again.

If you look through my blog, you will see that I find blue papers very hard to resist.

My latest paper pad addiction is the pretty Summer in Provence by Paper Boutique.

The deep navy blue is very stylish and the card toppers have great quotes which are a little different to the norm. Here are three cards that I have created. I am certain there will be more.

I created my own flowers with my Tonic flower dies and a sheet of the floral paper which I then backed with blue card. Each centre was finished off with a small piece of Candi.

I hope you can see the embossed piece of paper in this photo ( which was in a Tonic set). It wasn’t the right shade of blue so I darkened it successfully with an oxide ink.

I am lucky to have made many friends through my love of crafting. This card is for all of them.

I think you will agree with me in that these are beautiful papers and toppers. Until next time.

Beautiful Bees Bunting

Hello again

I am still in love with my various papers featuring bees.

I have been creating a string of tag bunting. Each one of them features Craft Consortium papers with inked on stencils and handmade heat embossed shapes imprinted with bee stamps and hive designs.

Each part was a joy to make and I am rather tempted to make some more.

I hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I enjoyed this little project.
