THE GIFT OF GIVING

Hello again,

Today I would like to share a beautiful collection which has been illustrated by Helz Cuppleditch and is being launched by the team at Craft Consortium. It is called The Gift of Giving and is full of the sweetest characters. The samples I made for the launch are based around giving gifts and the various occasions that we might send a present to a friend or loved ones.

I began by stamping and colouring in the images. This took me a few hours over the weekend but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It is quite unusual for me to dive straight into the stamping and colouring first but I was so taken with the wide range of images that I just went for it I share some colouring techniques in my video so it is worth taking a look at. In addition, you will see full instructions to make this sweet notecard set which in itself would make a lovely gift.
