Hello again.
I am absolutely thrilled to have been invited to join the Craft Consortium’s Design Team. I love working with their products, particularly the papers designed by Hackney and Co.
Katy Hackney’s latest collection – The Herbarium is another beauty. I have enjoyed making cards (more on them another time ) and this keepsake book.
I constructed the keepsake book itself with the help of my Tonic Keepsake Insert Creator cutting dies. Today though, I am focusing on the pages themselves.
The papers and the non-shedding glitter card die-cut perfectly and work beautifully as backgrounds on each page.

I heat embossed the versatile stamps within The Herbarium collection, before layering them up onto the pages.

I also incorporated a previous collection – The Riverbank into this memory book. Everything works so well together. I stamped and coloured in two sets of the lily pads, layered them up together and finished the page with a Sizzix – Tim Holtz geometric insect.

At this stage I got a bit carried away because I wanted to use every single page within The Herbarium paper pad. They match brilliantly together. As well as stamping onto the pages I die cut them to personalise the tags.

I hope you enjoyed looking through my keepsake book as much as I enjoyed making it. The quote on the front cover pretty much explains my life at the moment.
” Create the life you love “
Until next time. Happy crafting
Much love x Elisabeth x
