GRACEFUL STAMPS MAKE BEAUTIFUL CARDS.

Hello again.

The new Graceful stamps were originally launched with Craftwork Cards Botanique collection.  However they make such stylish cards I thought they deserved a blog post of their own.

The flower stamps are from the Botanique range: https://www.craftstash.co.uk/craftwork-cards-a6-stamp-set-botanique-florals-set-of-19.html

and the sentiment stamps are called Graceful : https://www.craftstash.co.uk/craftwork-cards-stamp-set-graceful-sentiments-set-of-12.html

The little tip that I wanted to share with you is that by using one or two strips of washi tape you can mask off blocks of the card.  When this is done simply stamp up to the washi tape line.  When you remove the tape you will have a clean, crisp border on your work.  When you have added the flowers take your black ink and stamp on the Graceful stamp sentiment.

I think this trio of cards are simple but very effective. Until next time.

BOTANIQUE FROM CRAFTWORK CARDS

Hello again.

There are many goodies in the new Botanique collection from Craftwork Cards.  Today I will mainly focus on the papers.  I am going to show them to you as as whole because it will make you see, just how versatile this kit is .  You can use the papers as background papers, or die cut pretty flowers.  The deep plum and the olive green compliment each other really well and the card stock included with it highlights this.

The hexagonal toppers have a range of floral designs and words and you can stamp onto them as well.  More about the stamps in my next blog ;).

FLYING HIGH

Hello again,

2019 is going to be a milestone year for me.  I was lucky enough to use this kit to make some samples for Craftwork Cards launch on Hochanda.  In addition I wrote my very first article for Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine!

Here is a selection of cards that I made for both the shows and the magazine.

The papers lend themselves to making bright, cheerful cards.  I created a z-fold base card with raspberry pink card stock.  I then layered up the base card with a range of the background papers.  The chaffinch topper came with the kit and I finished the card by adding glossy drops to the orange candi.

I used the background paper to its best advantage in this card by placing the rays centrally.  I cut hello from one of my favourite Tonic sentiment strip dies.  The bi-plane was added to the line of the die to make hello look like a banner trailing behind it.

On this card I mixed the stamped balloons with the printed balloons/  The small toppers in the kit make good little tags.

This time I used the larger balloon on a topper.

For this pop up box card I used various butterfly die cuts as they match the background papers.  I finished them off with blue and baby pink Nuvo drops.

Until next time.
