PEONY BOUQUET

Hello again

The Hobby House have put together another beautiful collection of papers and embellishments.  You can die cut, emboss, heat-emboss and stamp with the Peony Bouquet card stock and the flowers co-ordinate with the papers perfectly.

Until next time.

One thing in common – an inky background.o

Hello again,

The new Inky Background papers from Craftwork Cards work so well with many of their collections.  My blog today will show you a selection of them.  You can buy all the products from Craft Stash UK and more of my cards can be seen alongside them.

First we start with the Inky Backgrounds with the Birds and Blooms Collection.

I stamped and die cut 6 birdcages and the little twittering birds and layered them onto the red background.  It reminds me of the sunset on a warm summers evening.

The next card also incorporates the Inky Background stamps. embossing folder and die cut bundle.  I used the stamps to build up layers of interest.

Next I used the Inky Backgrounds with the brilliant Crazy Daisies stamps.

I used various shades of purple to stamp out the daisies and layered them along a panel of card which was embossed with the Inky Background embossing folder.

Last but not least I used the Butterflies and Blooms stamp set.

For this card I stuck to the thicker edged stamp because I liked the effect of the solid black outline against the red papers.

In contrast the narrower outline on the smaller butterflies work beautifully next to the sentiment on this card.

As you can see the papers are very versatile and you can create so many different looks with your cards.  Until next time.

Beauty, elegance and simplicity.

Hello again.

I am just popping by to share with you three stunning cutting dies from Craftwork Cards which are available from Hochanda and Craft Stash UK.  Craftwork Cards are new to the world of cutting dies and these three will be a great addition to any crafting collection.

I started off with the Beauty cutting die and a piece of olive green cardstock.  I then cut several of the smaller flowers and leaves to arrange around the wreath.  I completed the card with 2 stamped sentiments and some Nuvo drops.

Next I used the Simplicity cutting die.  I cut it out once in a plain pink card stock and then again with CWC Vintage Ephemera papers.

Thirdly I used the Elegance cutting die with the new Botanique papers and cardstock.  I even found some matching purple sequins for the centre of the flowers.

I am sure you will agree with me.  It doesnt matter how you use them – they are simple. elegant and beautiful.  Until next time.
